What we store. ShotSwap stores your shop domain, app settings, plan and billing status, and which of your product photos belong to which variant. The photo assignments themselves live in a metafield on your own Shopify products — your store holds the source of truth.
Shopper data. We store none. The gallery filter runs entirely in the shopper's browser on your storefront; shoppers never send anything to our servers. Because we hold no customer personal data, a customer data request returns nothing held and a customer redaction request has nothing to erase — both Shopify GDPR webhooks are honored.
What we do with it. Your data exists only to run the app for your store. We never sell or share it, and no AI training is involved.
Uninstall. Uninstalling cancels any subscription and removes the sample product. Shopify's shop redaction webhook (48 hours after uninstall) deletes every row belonging to your shop.
